Sovereign Mint Exchange - S M X Silver rounds feature the popular Buffalo Nickel design and are struck onto .999 fine silver. These rounds are now available in brand new condition and weigh 1/10 troy ounce each. Images are examples only the coins could be from different mints.

Each 1/10 ozt Buffalo Silver Round showcases a design inspired by James Earle Fraser’s Buffalo Nickel. Fraser designed the Buffalo, or Indian Head Nickel as it is also known as in 1912. It wouldn’t be released until the following year and experienced 25 years in circulation which ended in 1938. Today many collectors still admire the Buffalo Nickel and regard it as one of the most iconic designs to ever be featured on a US coin.

The Sovereign Mint Exchange – S M X has brought the old US Nickel back to life with this .999% pure silver round. Featured on the rounds front is an image of a Native American man in profile. To his right side is the word “Liberty” just as it appeared on the actual coin. The only thing missing from this replica silver round is a year of issue which would have been featured on the bottom left side on the original.
The back of the round also draws its inspiration from Fraser’s Buffalo Nickel and showcases an American Buffalo who appears to be walking along an open plain. Centered above the buffalo are markings for the rounds weight which read “1/10 TROY OUNCE.” Below this are purity inscriptions which read “.999 FINE SILVER.”
